Goals Section Added
Because I am a
firm believer in the importance of goals, I added a
page here that publicizes the goals we set for our
racing efforts. Want to know where I'm going?
This is where I'll tell you my thoughts!

For Sale Section Added
In the market for
a shiny new car or some parts for your car?
I've added a small
For Sale
section where I will post up things I have for sale,
or that friends of mine have for sale.

New Look For The Race Car!!
Well, the color
scheme of the updated website isn't purely
coincidence, it happens to now match the car too!
After my brush with the wall at Road Atlanta in
August, we knew we needed to have the front bumper
cover and one front fender repainted. Rather
than trying (likely in vain) to match the red that
the rest of the car is painted, we opted to add
silver to make it a two-tone car and we're very
happy with the results! Check out the pictures
here and
let us know what you think.
September 27,
2008: Website Updated
Welcome
to the new look of VetteRacer.net! Since I had
a minor surgery Thursday morning, I'm more-or-less
couch-bound for a few days. I'm not the kind
of guy who can sit around and watch TV all day, so I
thought I'd do something constructive and get the
website redesigned a little bit. Hope you
enjoy the site!
It will take me
some time to get all the content converted from the
old site to the new one, so in the meantime, or for those of you who
just
enjoy a challenge, you can still read the old site
here.

2008: 25 Hours Of Thunderhill
Announcement
As some
of you are aware, I have been offered an opportunity to compete
this year in the longest on-road endurance race IN
THE WORLD - the
25 Hours of Thunderhill presented by The United
States Air Force.
This
grueling test of man and machine has rapidly grown
to become one of the premiere racing events in the
United States since it was first run in 2002.
In 2007, over 70 cars started the race and 2008
promises to be just as fierce of a competition!

I will be
one of 4 drivers in the
Prototype Development Group GTM-R.
This custom-built racing machine hit the track for
the first time only hours before the 2007 25-hour
race and now has a full year of development and
testing under it. The car was very fast last
year, but suffered from some mechanical issues which
cost hours in the pits during the race. With a
load of new parts, new sponsors, and some great
engineering work, the car promises to be not only
faster this year - but reliable as well.
I will get some
preview information together and posted before the
race and of course have a full writeup, videos,
pictures, etc. afterwards!
